The Northwestern Illinois Center for Independent Living and Equip for Equality are offering a free parent training on Transition Services for IEP students to assist with life after graduation.  The training will assist parents with:

  • Transitioning from high school into real life and what to expect.
  • How to advocate for your child's right to an appropriate IEP.
  • How to ask for an age appropriate transition test.
  • How to ensure an IEP meets and works for your child's needs.

This is an interactive training from experts at NICIL and Equip for Equality.  Call NICIL for more information and if you are interested in attending their watch party.  You can RSVP to either agency at the numbers or emails below.
