Hi Jefferson 2nd and 3rd graders! In Music, we were just getting started on our final music project - our Musicals! I included the words for our songs in your homework packets. You can also sing along with the songs on YouTube.
2nd grade: find Hungry to Learn - MusicK8.com Musical Revue You will see the cover from our singing packets that we used at school. Please read the words, listen and sing along, and get to know these songs.
3rd grade: find Hats the Musical Songs We sing the first 4 songs. Please read the words, listen and sing along, and get to know these songs.
For 2nd and 3rd grade, there are also many fun songs to help you practice and remember things that you've already learned in your classrooms. Some of my favorites are called: Mr. R's Songs for Teaching. Look that up on YouTube, and try something you'd like to review, like place value, days of the week, counting coins - just all kinds of fun things.
Also, test your tapping knowledge of ta, ti ti, tika tika and shhhhhh with Bruno Mars, in this song on YouTube: Uptown Funk Play Along It's fun to just tap out the rhythms on your lap, or ask Mom for a couple of wooden spoons from the kitchen, and use them like rhythm sticks.
